Inspired by stamping.

Here is my interpation of the colour challenge.

I used a Pink Paislee range of paper called Butterfly garden.

A green and white dot paper for the background layer and a sheet of dictionary paper. I inked the edges of all the papers. I used a chocolate brown cardstock for the mounts of each layer.

MFT dies where used for the doilies.  The foliage I cut from Cricut. And punched out butterflies then put tiny pink rhinestones on the brown butterflies. The pink edged flower was in my stash.

I used paper from the Prima Botanical collection. As there are dragonflies on some of the paper I cut a couple out using vellum with my Cricut.
I also cut the foliage using my Cricut. I used 2 flat flowers from my stash and inked the edges, then put seven 2mm light yellow flat pearls in the centre. I used some cotten lace for the angled strip. Used a Fiskers border punch for the white trim.

It is the start of a new month. So it is contest week.

To play along I have to make a project using the provided sketch.

I thought I would try my hand at a monochome card.

Well almost!  I have a wedding  later this year so I am trying out several different styles for a card.

Below is my first attempt.

I have used silver as a theme colour with white.  I embossed the back white mount and also the vertical white strip. I added a wee bit of colour to some of the foliage by the white flower, which I put a silver dimante on. The sentiment is heat embossed in silver.

Wow the weeks keep going fast.  Time is just slipping away from me.

I have used Graphic 45 paper. Sorry I only know I used some from the Courosity shop. And dont know the other ones, as I used scraps from stash.

I have several layers in this card and enjoyed stretching myself to use as many layers as possible. 

I made the card with a male in mind who is into biking.
