Mojo monday 285

We had a wee bit of rain today.  After no rain for about 3 days it was nice.  It will help the vegys in the garden grow more.

Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge #51

I some times think that a week is not long enough to get everything done, that I would like to get done.  And this has been one of those weeks.  7 days is not enough for a week, why can't we change it?

Oh well here is my entry for the IBSIC #51

I was already colouring in an image with my watercolour pencils and the colours just fitted this challenge.The image is called Ava and is from Saturated Canary. http://saturated-canary.myshopify.com/ You will have to go look at her digis they are wonderful.

Two Challenges

IBSI challenge #50 and Scrapbook boutique challenge.

As both of these had a similar colour scheme for their challenge I thought I would make 1 card and enter in both of the challenges.

The brief for both the sites was to use Light green,light blue and light pink and to have an easter theme.

I have played with my Zig Photo Twin pens to colour this wonderful image of a girl with ballons,

I have to give a big credit to Anna Stillwell for the image. She is a wonderful artist and her images are free.

Here is my entry for the above challenge this week.

I live in SE Queenslands and the last few weeks the weather is shocking. It rains in varing degrees each day. Not normal for us. Give me the sun please for longer then just half an hour each time. It gets hard to do any thing. 

Thats my gripe for the month.  Well maybe the last 2 months. HAHAHA

Mojo Monday

We spent some time with my sister in Brisbane for a while.
And I got the chance to go shopping. Who doesn't love to do that.
My better half and I have a wedding to go to later in the year in NZ.
Its the daughters wedding.  So first things first a suit and everything that goes with it for that wonderful man in my life.  Got that sorted, then my turn.  But not for a wedding outfit, that is sorted.
I went craft shopping and had a ball.  Just not enough money for everything.  Next time.

But anyway on to the main issue.  Challenges. 
Here is my entry for Mojo Monday 283.
This is the sketch.

Here is my take on it. I use a cream base card and topped it with light grey paper then a light cream embossed tissue paper.
I have made for a grandmothers mothers day card.
The dragonfly and butterflies have been punched from vellum in grey and gold.
